On June 4, the singer shared her lupus diagnosis along with a slideshow of videos showing her dealing with both the pain and the treatment. “I’m giving myself two more years to be sick,” the 29-year-old singer says in one video. “At 30, I’m having a rebirth.” The caption for the post reads, “long story short, i’m Lucky to be alive.” In 2022, Halsey was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjogren’s syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome, and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome.
